ગાયત્રી મંત્રમાં ૨૪ અક્ષરો છે. વાલ્મીકિ રામાયણમાં ૨૪૦૦૦ શ્લોક છે. રામાયણના પ્રત્યેક ૧૦૦૦ શ્લોકના પ્રથમ અક્ષરને લઇ, સાથે ગોઠવવાથી ગાયત્રી મંત્ર બને છે! ગાયત્રી મંત્રનો સૌપ્રથમ ઉલ્લેખ ઋગ્વેદમાં થયો હતો છતાં રામાયણ સાથેનું એનું આવું ચમત્કારી મહત્વ છે.

Ramayana’s Significance to Gayatri Mantra!

There are 24 letters in the Gayatri Mantra and there are 24,000 Shlokas (Stanza) in the Valmiki Ramayana. The first letter of every 1000th Shloka together of the Ramayana forms the Gayatri Mantra. While the Gayatri Mantra has been actually first mentioned in the Rig Veda, it has this miraculous significance with the Ramayana.
